Skip Starbucks during your time in Clemson and you'll be glad that you did! This adorable coffee shop in the heart of downtown Clemson will not disappoint. The coffee is amazing (I recommend The Panda Bear) and so is all of the food! This place is great to just go sit with your family and friends…
INCREDIBLE desserts (all desserts are handmade, their cinnamon rolls are to die for!) Also some of the best chicken salad I've ever had (it has bacon in it!!).
The perfect coffee shop in Clemson that is not a chain store and all their desserts are out of this world but I highly recommend their strawberry cake if it is available. You can also order full cakes in advance.

“The Blue Heron has been around for a while and offers an upstairs fine dining with sushi bar or a sports bar atmosphere downstairs with tvs and outdoor seating but still providing the same menus with sushi. Lots of locals hang out downstairs!”

“This is the most nostalgic spot in Clemson, by far. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere compares to no other. If you're looking for good southern food, the meat and 3 is a MUST (not served on Saturdays). I'll let you in on a little secret that not a lot of people know about...you can get chicken fingers instead of the meats offered that specific day. The Esso Club has the BEST chicken fingers around. Don't miss out on this opportunity if you like chicken fingers. Esso Club also has really good chili. I recommend the nachos. ”

“Nick's Tavern is a staple in downtown Clemson serving only a huge selection of beer and a small menu that is amazing! I highly suggest their gazpacho or fried mushrooms. You will find students and professors hanging out here so the conversation is never dull.”

“You might need a reservation, but this is our favorite place for breakfast. It’s all the way in Clemson, about 10 miles down the road, but we always enjoy eating there.”
