One of our favorite brunch places. They have a high quality flare on all the brunch classics. If you're feeling saucy, get a mimosa pitcher for the table. You won't be disappointed. Side note- also a GREAT place for oysters.
LOVE me some brunch at Hillside. It's a reformed pharmacy. Great decor, amazing cocktails and food.
Hillside Farmacy could easily get by on its good looks alone. There is a ridiculous amount of charm here, both inside and out on the striped-awning covered patio. The space plays up its origins as Hillside Drugstore, with vintage tile floors, cabinets leftover from the pharmacy, and a highly “cute”…
Local favorite with consistently good food - everything from brunch to dinner, biscuits and gravy to oysters rockefeller. Fun outdoor patio with bistro feel. Be sure to stop by Take Heart next door, a nicely curated gift shop.

“An Austin staple and award-winning BBQ. Most people make a day out of eating at the restaurant by "tailgating" starting at 8am. My friends and I have done this before by bringing chairs, tacos, and mimosas. BBQ is served until sold out, usually by 3pm. They will go through the line and put a sign up once they estimate they will run out of BBQ (yes, the line gets that long). What most tourists don't know is that you can order ahead, which I highly recommend if you don't like waiting in line because the food really is amazing. You do need to place your order 3-4 weeks in advance to have all options available. ”
