Chatham is about 20 minutes away down route 28. Lots of nice shops, and plenty of restaurant choices. Plenty of free municipal parking (behind the Benjamin Franklin store, and opposite the Library) as well as free on street parking. Check out the very cool little cinema for a movie.

Chatham is a seaside town at the southeastern tip of Cape Cod, in the state of Massachusetts. On the Atlantic Ocean, it’s known for its beaches, including Lighthouse Beach near the landmark 19th-century Chatham Lighthouse. The Chatham Railroad Museum exhibits model trains and train artifacts in a former depot dating from 1887. To the south, Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge provides a vast habitat for migratory birds.
