Take a scenic drive from the Nishi Building through beautiful Yarralumla enjoying lake views then arrive at the Turkish Halal Pide House (take away shop). Don't be fooled by the shops interior, the food is AMAZING! Order the banquette share meal for 2. It is so delicious and it serves 4 people so plenty of food left over for lunch the next day. Or if you want the best Kebab you have ever had this is the place to go then sit by the lake and indulge.

A Canberra institution. Their banquet for 2 feeds about five adults! Also, I'd get it to take away as the you go there for the food not the decor!
