If you’re keen to try some of the region’s traditional recipes, Constanzer Wirtshaus is just right for you. The restaurant occupies the light-flooded rooms of a former Officers’ Mess, erected under Emperor William II in 1899. Now, the tavern is a popular meeting point for locals and visitors of all ages, who come here to enjoy a hearty meal and a chilled draft beer. The menu is studded with some of the best dishes Baden-Württemberg has to offer: Knödelpfanne (bread dumplings) with veggies, Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten (beef saddle with glazed onions and Spätzle noodles), Schweinshaxe (crispy pork knuckle) and Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) for dessert.
