A go-karting centre for kids, teenagers, and adults, located just off Langata Road. The karts are timed as they race around a smallish tarmac track, and you get a print-out of everyone’s speeds at the end to see who was fastest. We like to go during the week when it’s less busy, or make a booking for the weekend if we’re going with a group. Simple snacks are available to buy on-site. Also, Splash water park is next door, which is fun for young kids on a hot day. Combining the two makes a great day with kids.

There is nothing as fun as Motorsports, it’s really fun. There are a wide variety of thrill-seeking activities to indulge in at the venue. “This theater is a sort of icon in Kenya. It’s just been renovated—with improved sound, seating, and acoustics—which makes it a joy to sit in and watch a performance. They normally put on plays here, but recently the space has also been hired out for classical music and ballet. Whatever’s on, the productions here are always great. There’s a bar with a range of locally inspired drinks available, so it’s nice to come early and have something before the performance.”

“This is well worth a visit. The art work is stunning and varied and very well set out. You’ll be stunned when you drive into the car park and that will carry on when you go indoors. Pictures, sculptures etc will impress you immensely. There is also a lively cafe and sitting area in the garden.”
