You can go inside the abbey or walk around the grounds and gardens. Free entry. There is a cafe on site.

14 miles. Founded nearly 1000 years ago, it stood for 500 years before it was closed by Henry VIII. Monks returned in 1882. It's the home to a community of Benedictine monks.
