This is on the circular line around the city. The left side goes towards Friedrichshain the right towards Charlottenburg. There's also a tram stop just in front of it. If you take this into the city, you'll go right to the central station Alexanderplatz. From there you can pretty much go anywhere.

Prenzlauer Alle S-Bahn train station. 5 minutes walk from the train station. Take the ring train S41/S42 or S9 and S8. This train service will connect you to anywhere in Berlin.

From here you can circle the entire city on the S41/42 trains or go to Schönefeld Airport on the S9 train or to Beusselstraße for the 8-min bus to Tegel Arport
