Provincetown is a fun day trip - whether you walk the streets and enjoy local flavor, or venture out to rocky beaches, or you enjoy local cuisine of Portuguese settlers. Provincetown Monument is a spot to visit during any time of the year - you can climb all the way to the top of this granite tower…

The Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown was built between 1907 and 1910 to commemorate the first landfall of the Pilgrims in 1620 and the signing of the Mayflower Compact in Provincetown Harbor. Climb 116 stairs (a gentle climb) to amazing views at the top! The Provincetown Museum is at its base.

Walk to the top of this iconic Ptown site. It is strenous trek up the stairs so make sure you are feeling up to it and hydrated. Worth the walk for the 360 view of Ptown and Cape Cod.

Bar gay
“One of Ptown's classic, legendary queer nightspots, it's actually three venues in one: Little Bar, Macho Bar, and the main House, which itself has up to six bars operating indoors and outdoors during the high summer season. A fun place to finish up a night on the town. Little Bar is a friendly pub without dancing, and Macho Bar (upstairs) is more of a men-only affair with adult film on the TVs and a more sexual vibe.”

“Parking. Trendy and fairly expensive. People love this restaurant for the incredible views of the bay especially during sunset. They also have an oyster bar during the afternoon if you want to sit in an Adirondack chair and stare at the water.”
