“Particulars: Seasonal restrooms, showers and changing rooms. The Old Harbor Life-Saving Station is located at Race Point Beach, and is open seasonally. Directions: Located at the end of Race Point Road, off of Route 6 in Provincetown. Safety: Use caution on bike trails, watch out for ticks and poison ivy, use caution when walking and do not damage beach grass. Shorebirds: Protected shorebirs typically nest and stage on this beach from late spring to fall. Note and follow any posted pedestrian or pet closures. Prominent Features Nearby: The Province Lands Visitor Center, open from May through October is located neary. The Provincetown town center and Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum are nearby.”
