See what a progressive farming community, spread across some 30 sloping acres, looked like in the mid-1800s. Missouri Town 1855 is composed of more than 25 buildings dating from 1820 - 1860. Living history museum of historical 19th century farm life, with reconstructed houses and farm buildings. Sheep, pigs, and other animals can be seen around the exhibits. Buffalo and elk during the drive in. Fun events go on here in the summer. Could take a hike around Lake Jacomo while in the area.

A genuine step back in time. Great to visit anytime, but they do have fantastic events. Be sure to check out the bison & elk at nearby Lake Jacomo Fleming Park. The lake does also offer fishing.

This entire town takes a look at what life was like in Missouri in the year 1855. Meet a blacksmith, churn butter, and have fun learning about history.
