Amazing sea views, great local food and the perfect end point after walking from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle and back along one of Britain's best loved walks.

“Drive across the causeway (at low tide) to experience this historic island. The Priory and Castle are the most obvious points, don't forget the Gertrude Jekyll designed garden outside the castle walls - especially in high summer (July and August) when most of the plants come into flower. Good coffee and food available in the cafés. ”

“A small well run museum on the history of the Darling family particularly Grace, known for her courageous rescue of the crew and passengers of the wrecked SS Forfarshire on the Farne Islands during a storm. Huge amount of artefacts and worth pairing with a boat trip around the Farnes to see just what a feat it was (in a hand rowed boat)”
