Arrington Vineyards is Tennessee's version of wine country. It's a 35 min drive from downtown. Take your blanket and chairs and find a spot on the lawn. If you're lucky you can grab a table under a tree. So take a tablecloth and bring your own picnic. You can buy wine and drinks there at the winery. There is live music sometimes. It's a favorite for locals.

Quick 12 minute drive from cottage. Enjoy live music every weekend from April-November, wine tastings year round, Food trucks Fridays May-October

Okay, so this is a bit of a drive, but is one of our FAVORITE outdoor spots in the greater Nashville area and is great for couples, families or a group. The wine is terrific, but you don't have to purchase any to use the outdoor picnic area for free. Pack a picnic or small bites there. No outside alcohol allowed. Check website for live music schedule.

Pack a picnic lunch and head 45mins S. to Arrington. Spend the afternoon listening to live music, with views of the vineyard, rolling hills and a glass of your favorite wine.
