Main Street, Cockermouth. Books, books and more books! Cosy sofas for you to sit and browse before you buy. Friendly helpful staff, cafe, toilets.

A genuine independent bookshop with an ever changing stock. The proprietor Catherine makes sure she has the best local books, up to date fiction, walking books, greetings cards and there’s a decent cafe in the back.

Nice bookshop for adults and children, and you can pick and buy a book, then have lunch and enjoy reading your new book while waiting for your lunch to arrive at your table...🙂
