Walk to Merewether Beach and then up the the Anzac Memorial Bridge and back. This is a gorgeous walk is about a 6km round trip.

The Newcastle Memorial Walk is a picturesque 450m long boardwalk and bridge, dedicated to the memory of fallen soldiers from the First World War.

This is one of the best additions to Newcastle where you feel like you're walking in the clouds. During May to July and then September to November, spot the Humpbacks and Southern Right Whales as they migrate.
