Take the skilift to the highest cafe in NZ at 2000m. Enjoy short walk around the cafe and Mead Wall, or venture to the Crater lake if you are an experienced hiker .

A scenic chairlift ride takes you to this stunning location, open in winter and summer.

The ride up in the chairlift is spectacular as you are carried up the mountain over jagged rocks and waterfalls to the cafe right up among the peaks. Access by driving up the road from National Park to Whakapapa Skifield, buy your lift ticket at the shop, and away you go!
