One of the four ancient cities of Kea (aka Tetrapolis). Nicely excavated with a recent addition of a 4th century BC theater. Access via footpath, mules hiring or by sea and speedboat hiring from Keadivers.gr

To reach Karthaia you need to walk down a path ( 50 min approx). Take light lunch and liquids with you as there is absolute nothing once you reach the site and beach. Please keep the beach clean, thank you.

If you enjoy hiking this is a place that you should go. You will find unique old ruins build on a rocky hill between two beautiful beaches.

A magical archaeological site, well kept, in a stunning landscape! The ancient temple and theatre overlook the Aegean and have access to 2 beaches and a small church with a cool shaded terrace, with a stone table. One needs to walk from Stavroudaki for 1 hour in order to get there. Do not miss it, for a taste of real beauty over the centuries!
