This is a great hike and has some terrific views at the top. The last 20-30 feet requires some scrambling with some ropes to help pull yourself up by. If you are willing to do that last bit, the views are WELL worth it. If the last bit scares you, it still has some incredible views
A steep, 2-mile roundtrip hike to a point with breathtaking views of the Lake. Parking can be difficult and/or limited. To access the trailhead you must walk on the Highway about 200 meters which is a little treacherous.
Hiking trail for experienced hikers. Great workout with spectacular views of Big Bear Lake and surrounding areas.
There are many wonderful hikes. This one is a locals favorite due to the views. Cougar trail on North Shore is popular with the young hikers in your family.
