Home to extraordinary and charismatic people who are an essential part of our Isla Roots family. The most dense populated island in the world is just about 45 minutes on boat from the shores of Tolu and Coveñas. The island is made from coral reefs that fisherman throughout time have molded together to make their island. Around 610 people live on the island, there are only 5 families, and they run on tourism, and fishing. Because the island is man made there are no crops to grow, and it has the most poverty line of the region of Bolivar they may not have much but they are among the happiest.

Santa Cruz del Islote esun islote artificial ubicafo en el arcgipielago de San Bernardo ,es famoso por atrubuirse sr la isla mas densamente poblada del mundo. Allí podrás nadar con tiburones, en un pequeño acuario adecuado para tal fin y recorrer las estrechas calles ,siempre acompañado de un guía nativo.
