Great for families with a playground and sprayground. There is also an Arboretum and Botanical Conservatory. They also offer a Summer Playground Program with games, activities, sports, and arts and crafts!

Beautiful park to wander in, especially with the autumn leaves. 27 acre park filled with old growth trees, pond and a wonderful playground and splash pad. Don't miss the botanical conservatory!

Wright Park is ideal for a leisurely stroll or taking your kids to the playground or sprayground. This 27 acre arboretum is home to a rich collection of more than 600 trees as well at W. W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory which opened in 1908!

A beautiful park in the middle of the city. Playground, spray park and trail all the way around and throughout the park makes this a fabulous space to spend some family time.

Wright Park is a wonderful outdoor space in Tacoma and has been a city park since 1895. There are over 400 different species of trees here and they are all labeled with dates of planting. The fountain and pond are gorgeous. Also check out W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory when you're here.

Indie Movie Theater
“We love Grand Cinema! It is an independent movie theater run by local volunteers. On Tuesdays they have special runs of independent movies, Saturday’s have films for families, and they have a weird movie night on Saturdays (late at night). They serve the most delicious popcorn with real butter, ice cold beer, and are always super nice. ”

“4-story museum on an 8-acre campus displaying cars, trucks & motorcycles in historic & tech exhibits. Even if you aren't a "car person", this is still a wonderful place to spend part of a day at. ”
