A great place to go rent tubes and float the James River from Bent Creek to the park. The park has a shuttle service in addition to canoe and tube rentals.

Enjoy the hiking/walking trails. You can rent canoes and kayaks. There are some neat rapids on the James River. The James river is famous and was the way to get to Richmond back in the day. There is a Batteaux Festival is in June. The batteaux boats were used to transport tobacco to Richmond.
