Take a lovely walk across the Barrage to Mermaid Quay (Also known locally as The Bay) On the Barrage you will find a Kids Playground and a skate park along with other sights and cafes.

A wonderful walk, great for fishing and marveling at the second highest tidal range in the world with views across the Bristol Channel to the Somerset coastline. Spot seals, jumping salmon and harbour porpoises!

A lovely walk or cycle that joins Penarth to Cardiff Bay, with some nice coffee stops on route

A lovely flat route joining Penarth to Cardiff Bay. This is a car free road so safe for all the family to walk, run, ride. There are NEXT bikes you can hire or if you prefer you can catch the water taxi over the Bay.

Walk all the way from Cariff Bay across the Barrage to Penarth. There is a park on the way as well. Lovely views across the Bristol Channel on a sunny day.
