At the heart of Onuma Quasi National Park is the majestic Mount Komagatake, a dormant volcano, as well as two lakes called Onuma and Konuma. The lakes are dotted with watershields and surrounded by birch and maple trees. They are ideal for a variety of activities such as canoeing, boating and fishing in summer or snow mobiling, snow shoe walking and ice fishing in winter.
