One of the largest indoor shopping, dining and entertainment centres in Europe and within 25 to 30 minutes by car or a short train ride from the local station stopping outside Meadowhall.

Modern, bright, shopping centre (8th largest in UK) with over 280 stores, restaurants and a cinema. I like it because there is a Lego store, GAME store, Toy R Us and Apple store. T, 9 years old

The biggest shopping mall. You can either use Yellow line using from the City centre till the final stop. £4 for daily ticket (recommend)

“Designed by WGR Sprague, the Lyceum Theatre originally opened in 1897. A traditional proscenium arch theatre, this 1068-seat listed building is Sprague's only surviving design outside London. Following its closure in 1968, the Lyceum underwent a £12 million renovation and reopened in 1991. The Lyceum is the main receiving venue for touring productions in the Sheffield Theatres complex. It comprises of a diverse programme comprising opera, ballet, contemporary dance and West End hits as well as our own productions The Lyceum theatre has three bars and provides light snacks.”

“Museum of temporary exhibitions. This also houses a shop of locally-produced items and has an adjacent indoor garden of a variety of plants. A nice place to sit with a drink and take in the calm of the place.”

“Not always on - you'd have to check facebook. Street food traders set up stalls at 92 burton road once a month for Peddler Market. Joe and I love it here, but we tend to go earlier to avoid queueing to get in.”
