We opened our doors in July 2007 in a 1910 cracker style house on Cholokka Boulevard in Micanopy. As a family-owned and operated business, the store is a little like an old general store with locally-produced and/or handmade items such as fair trade market baskets, soy candles, handmade soaps, local heirloom vegetable seeds, locally made homemade jellies and pickles and honey. We want to make natural, organic and sustainable living products available for those who want to live a simpler life and lessen their impact on the environment. We stock a small selection of books about permaculture, gardening, earth-oven building, baking artisan bread and cheese-making. In 2008, we built an outdoor wood-fired brick oven and began baking organic artisan sourdough bread for sale on weekends in our shop. In 2010, we renovated our space to include a full coffee and espresso bar and an array of fresh sweet pastries, decadent brownies, savory pastries and quiches baked in house daily. We like to chat and welcome you for a visit.

Stop into Mosswood Farm Store for a pastry and coffee and relax on the porch under the old Florida oaks and Spanish moss.
