Excellent beach, good surf, nature walks through the national park. You can walk along the beach, all the way to Byron from here.

Broken Head beach is a little more private (sometimes!) another terrific spot to check out the waves or spend some down time.

“Gorgeous little beach, local fave! Get in early, there's not much parking. Walk down a steep hill to get to this little beach.”

“Combi features many healthy-food options (including vegetarian) and a few not-so-healthy offerings, ensuring Combi has something for everyone! You can choose a shared table or an individual table - and there are great magazines to read while enjoying your coffee, snack or light meal. Combi has a very popular, laid-back atmosphere, healthy food - and very Byron decor. Great for morning or afternoon coffee, snacks and healthy light meals. Recommendation: try their acai bowl, smoothie or specialty coffee and don’t miss their ‘raw’ cake. ”

“Harvest is always on everyone's list of places to visit when they come to the Northern Rivers. Harvest is a restaurant, deli and bakery all set next to each other, in the historic village of Newrybar. The food in all three settings is unmissable and whether you head over for a low-key coffee and a croissant or sit down for a special meal, you will leave with a happy stomach and a happy heart. Bookings are essential for the restaurant as it books up in advance. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is availalble. If you are heading for a coffee, make sure to visit the communal gardens at the back of the bakery :)”
