Great swimming on the bayside! Fun people watching. A fully updated pavilion with bathrooms, showers and concession operated by Far Land on the Beach. Not your grandmother’s beach food. It is a popular place to watch sunset.

“This is a gorgeous beach just a little further from town than Herring Cove. It's a great beach for families or anyone that doesn't want a "scene" at the beach. It is also an excellent beach to watch sunset. It's too far to walk from town, but you can drive, ride your bike or take the shuttle bus from town.”
