Close and easy to reach, an excellent mountain for skis or boards. Superlative place for a day hike in the warm seasons, too (the PCT runs right through here.)

Mt. Ashland is only a 35-40 minute drive from Medford. It is a great spot for hiking, seeing wildflowers, and camping in the summer and downhill and cross-country in the winter. Plus the view is amazing!
