If you're coming up from the Seattle area, the Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry is a beautiful way to travel up Whidbey Island to Anacortes. Be sure to look it up online and check for any delays or changes in the schedule - sometimes there can be a bit of a wait.

This is a great spot to enjoy on an afternoon. Lots to see and great places to eat, have an ice cream or a coffee (Ivars, Diamond Knot Brewery, Red Cup Coffee). Beautiful beach park where you can watch the ferries, take a walk and enjoy an epic sunset.
