Historical monument. Victory tower built in 1193 by Qutab ud din Aibak. Open all days 7am to 5pm. Tickets on site or online.

The "lone minaret" or "victory tower" is Delhi's tallest monument (73 metres) and a world UNESCO heritage site. If you visit, you will know why. Thankfully, Delhi now has plenty of heritage guided walks through its main monuments, including by night, which can be quite a lovely experience.
