Komna is a vast plateau, which rises on the west side of Lake Bohinj. In winter this is a popular ski-touring area. The hut on Komna is open also during winter and can be a nice hiking destination on its own, but for the more ambitious mountaineers it presents a lovely and comfortable base for winter adventures in the area.

Komna is mountain above the lake Bohinj, 3 hours hiking tour, waterfall Savica is on the way there, there is wonderful view and the cottage-hotel, where you can get local food and milk products of the cows living in the summer there around.
