A favorite place to gather since 1976, this waterfront seafood and steakhouse offers an outdoor patio directly overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway providing one of the few truly waterfront dining experiences. Their cozy interior dining room has large bay windows showcasing a panoramic view of the Intracoastal Waterway and iconic Wrightsville Beach bascule bridge. Featured prominently in both movies and television shows, the sunsets are spectacular. You can also Dock and Dine at their marina for a splendid evening.

Atmosphere: semi-formal. Great view of the water channel when you sit outside. Great Staff Prices: about $20-35 per plate. Thanksgiving meal was well prepared, plan to return for regular menu. Location: 4 miles (8 -10 minutes drive) from our hosting location. Rating: good/excellent depending on dish.

Bridge Tender is right across the street from Waterway Lodge on the waterway. Great food and outdoor seating. Higher end pricing.
