Beautiful views with a lovely walking track. During summer months, kayak rentals are also available. For those that enjoy long bike trails, the canal trail starts here and extends all the way to the Lake Olmsted trailhead

The towpath trail that runs between the river and the canal is a running, walking, and biking friendly 8 mile one-way trail that takes you from Evans, GA to Downtown Augusta. Along the 8 mile trail, you will come across "The Grassy Knoll," The pump house, Raes Creek Aqueducts, and many other beautiful nature.
