The website proclaims ‘Not just tea and scones!’ which is true, but if you want our opinion the tea and scones are definitely the reason to come here. They’re just perfect! And you always get asked if you want to have strawberry jam or mixed berry jam with them, but guess what: you can have both if you just ask!

Kallista Tea Rooms is a must-visit for lovers of MCM, built in 1945 in an Art Deco mode. Offering gluten-free, low FODMAP, vegetarian or vegan food. Great food in a beautiful setting. Well worth visiting, please book your table, as this cafe is very popular, with locals and visitors.

Walking distance from house, approx 2.3km, walking track can be challenging in winter. Great food, hills atmosphere and healthy food options , dog friendly outside.
