Wheeler is home to the historic Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel. After being purchased on eBay in 2008, over $1 million was invested to refresh and refurbish the Wheel. During its time at Pacific Park in Santa Monica, the Wheel served as a backdrop for countless photo shoots and was featured in numerous commercials. The Wheeler Riverfront Plaza occasionally hosts a food truck for guests to enjoy. Please check our social media (@WheelerWheelOKC across all platforms) for more information. Guests are welcome to bring outside food and drink to enjoy. We’ll even provide your picnic blanket! Stop by the Wheeler Ferris Wheel ticket window to grab one.

If you’re looking for a quintessential photo op, Wheeler District is home to the OKC letters and Ferris wheel. The adjacent neighborhood has a nice little cafe/restaurant Terminal Commons and bar, The Big Friendly.

There's more than just the ferris wheel. Food, and places to sit and hang out. Great atmosphere. Lawn activities.
