The Model Cafe is THE dive bar / night club of the area. Punk-ish / LGBTQ friendly. Beer is suuuuuper cheap ($2 the PBR), and after 11pm the DJ starts palying 90s music on weekends, from Madonna to a Tribe Called Quest, with everybody going on the dance floor. Expect ~30 min wait after ~10:30pm (go in earlier, you can get stamped beginning 10pm and go out / come back in easily). Pretty quiet the rest of the week, playing other music styles (metal etc).
