Is just 20 minutes away by train or car and offers very romantic scenario. It's beautiful also from the outside!

The castle is inside a medieval village, but it was built on the ruins of a Roman villa, of which you can still see some signs, e.g. the fish pond, right on the sea

You can go to the beach all around this historic castle. There are places to rent umbrellas, and restaurants on the north side and a wild uncrowded black sand beach on the south side. You can also stay at the castle or visit the museum.
