Turning right out of Mariners Hard, heading away from Cley, if you walk for about 45 minutes along the coastal path, or a 10-minute drive, you will come to Salthouse. It has a beautiful garden overlooking the marshes and the coast where you can watch the sun set with a glass of something delicious. The menu is outstanding and offers their famous oysters and an array of gastropub specialities. Booking for food is essential. Purdy Street, Salthouse, NR25 7XA. Great place, delicious pub food, garden seating, wonderful setting on the North Norfolk coast. Lots of walks. Food served all day. 40 min drive away.

Great pub - fab food, family friendly and a great range of ales and wines - perfect after a long coastal walk. Views over the marsh are spectacular. Be warned, it can be busy as very popular!
