Very cool! There is a great view of Mobjack Bay from the Pier and it is a fun spot to take pics.

You can walk down the beach a few steps and catch a view of this beauty. You can kayak down for direct access, and you can take a short walk (about a mile) to the observation walkway!

Observation deck from Lighthouse Road gives history and closest view of New Point Comfort light by land. There is also a kayak launch to paddle out to the 3rd oldest lighthouse in Chesapeake Bay. Cool

Dating back to construction in early 1800s, the lighthouse sits as the entrance to the Mobjack Bay. Listed on National Register of Historic placed, it served as a beacon for more than 150 years. You can see the lighthouse at the Observation walkway at New Point Comfort Preserve, kayak or canoe there or join a boat tour.

The New Point Comfort lighthouse is a mile or so out in the water, but there is a great observation deck owned by the Nature Conservancy with a nice view and history of the lighthouse. Also, a public launch site for kayaks, small sail boats, Jet skis, or SUP boards to get up close to this iconic lighthouse, the second oldest in the Chesapeake Bay.
