The Mesa Prieta Project seeks to preserve petroglyphs on Mesa Prieta through the ongoing recording of what may be well over 100,000 prehistoric and historic petroglyphs carved into stone on the mesa. Public and private tours are offered, as well as special events and educational opportunities.
