A spectacular, short hike to an abandoned mining cabin. It mostly follows a road that is packed snow in winter and relatively mellow dirt in summer. The peaks are glorious!

A bit of a drive from Frisco, toward Leadville, easy/moderate, 6 miles round trip, the hike itself is wooded but when you come out of the trees its breathtaking.

Beautiful anytime of the year, Mayflower Gulch is a short and beautiful drive! Hiking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, a great place to walk the dogs! Hike to the historic mining cabin.

A relatively easy (as long as you are acclimated to the elevation) hike up to a small ghost town.
