The pier is a great place to fish. The hiking trail is an awesome there and back hike along the river. We also like to hike down the water and tie a tube to a tree and relax in the river.

Right next to Overlook Park. Can get busy but good for hiking, tubing and swimming.

1.9 mile trail along the river. Take in the impressive bald cypress trees and fly fisherman on your stroll.

This park is at the bottom of the dam where the water is released into the Guadalupe River. Its a great place to site see and cool off. The water down here is very cold (probably around 68 degrees Farenheit). The cold water combined with the shade from the tall cypress trees makes it seem like the outside has a little air conditioning sometimes. May-September on the weekends, occupancy at this park has been regulated, so go early (before 10am) or late (after 4:30pm). This park is sometimes closed on weekends. 16510 S Access Rd, Canyon Lake, TX 78133

Short hiking trail less than 2 miles out and back. Beautiful scenery, variable elevations, and lots to explore!
