There is a nice beach and boat launch by Monte Rio. Head to the other side of the bridge, take a left and there is a market, coffee shop and skate park.

Summer days on the river are the best. This beach is down the hill from the cottage. And, we must say - it's one of the very best beaches for river play in the area. Rent a canoe, float or swim or use our beach cabana for a day in the sun.
