The museum for modern art is located at two different sites. The Rupertinum is in Salzburg’s historic city centre and is only a few metres from the Festspielhaus. Up high on the Mönchsberg, the Museum der Moderne can be reached by lift. Taken together, the two buildings offer around 3,000 m² of exhibition space for sculptures, paintings, graphics and photos by contemporary Austrian and international artists. Collections and changing exhibitions, events, guided tours. Opening hours Tue to Sun 10 am to 6 pm, Wed 10 am to 8 pm Closed on Mondays

Schönes Museum direkt auf dem Mönchsberg. Es sollte vorher geschaut werden, ob die aktuelle Ausstellung interessant für den Besucher ist.
