Woodland habitat with the River Teme in a steep sided valley – 15 minutes drive, in Ludlow
From Whitcliffe Common you will have the wonderful and famous view of Ludlow Castle, the Church and the Ludlow’s historic town centre. Whitcliffe Common is situated on the southern edge of Ludlow in South Shropshire - a wonderful recreation area for residents and visitors alike.
Head to the river and over the bridge and you will be at the start of 'The Bread Walk'. Amazing views and you end up at the Charlton Arms for a post walk beer! There are a few routes, stay on the lower path if you want the quickest (prob 20 minutes bridge - bridge) No good for pushchairs or wheelchairs unfortunately as there are steps.
