This is one of my personal favourites. Busy and rambunctious on Fridays and Saturdays but the afternoon tea is supposed to be very good.

A really excellent, friendly and colourful Indian restaurant. The food is superb, they have been recognised as one of the best Indian restaurants in the UK.

In the heart of Bristol, Urban Tandoor is an intimate and welcoming Indian restaurant that takes inspiration from the whole of India. Having won a whole host of awards, the restaurant serves fresh and lighter takes on traditional dishes, using methods seen on everything from street food stalls through to family cooking. The small restaurant is arranged in a series of booths and is open for dinner every night of the week. Along with plenty of meaty dishes, such as Beef Sukka and Tandoori chicken, the restaurant has a great selection of vegetarian friendly dishes.
