Great sightseeing & hiking. Visit North Point Lighthouse for a tour or a summer book reading. Trails on each side of lighthouse will take you down to the lakefront.
Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted of Central Park fame, Lake Park sits atop the bluff above Bradford Beach. Home to paved paths, wooded trails, North Point Lighthouse (tours available for $8), lawn bowling, and the Lake Park Bistro.
Beautiful park that overlooks Lake Michigan, built by Frederick Law Olmsted who also designed Central Park in Manhattan.
Has some great children's play equipment. Lots of open space and plenty of parking.

“You’ll want a ride to this charming Italian restaurant, which is about 10 minutes by car. It’s just down the street from the UWM campus, and parking can be a little tough, so consider a Lyft or Uber. The menu is traditional, with many homemade options. We love the chicken marsala. Tell Teresa, one of the owners, that we sent you. ”
