St Kilda is where the Melbourne people used to go for their holidays when there were no cars. Acland street: famous for cake shops & classic Hungarian cafes, Fitzroy street: the Prince of Wales, Milk the Cow, the St Kilda bowling club, Entrance to Albert Park Lake, The upper esplanade: The historic Esplanade Hotel with bay windows - extensively renovated with multiple bars, the St Kilda pier - with the Royal melbourne yacht club in the foreground, the fairy penguins & the St Kilda sea baths - have a hot bathe & then run out to the Sea like the footy players do; Luna Park or the Palais.

Go to the bakery’s on Ackland street, tram numbers 96 and 16 take you from the city, make sure they are headed south 😂

you will find boom-time mansions. historic sea baths and Luna park's eye-catching rides are reminders of the strip's past as a glitzy resort. fine-dining restaurants and old European cake shops can be found on Acland and Carlisle street. Revellers fill area's pubs and music venues at night.
