Mongonissi Beach, Paxos's only sandy beach, is located on the southern tip. When on Mongonissi Beach you have access to a full beach service [Drinks, sunbeds, umbrellas, bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, watersports etc] from the nearby Mongonissi Beach Restaurant. The sandy beach and range of facilities makes Mongonissi Beach extremely popular with families. It is also here where you will find the friendly, funky, hip and happening Carnayo Gold Lounge Bar. Mongonissi Beach is easily accessible and within easy driving [15 minute] or walking [45 minute] distance of Paxos StoneHouse.

Mongonissi in the south-east of Paxos. There’s a sheltered bay here and the beach is technically on a large island that’s joined to the mainland by a bridge for the road.
