From the car park, this path hugs the lake foreshore for its entirety, ending at the Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery at Booragul. Along the way you can stop at one of the many rest areas or cafes and enjoy the spectacular outlook. This is a great walk for families. This walk includes a 380 metre-long elevated boardwalk built out over the lake around a headland known locally as ‘Redbluff’.

Jewell of Lake Macquarie, explore the foreshore or numerous cafes and restaurants. Short drive, bus or about an hour by bike (ideally via Fernleigh Track to Belmont then around the Lake). Just one of many lovely bays and foreshores to explore on the Lake.
