Great walking in the mountains and only 8kms up the road, with adequate parking. At the centre there is a collection of ancient artifacts showing how prehistoric man lived in the cave high in the hills there.

La Cueva del Parpalló (en valenciano, Cova del Parpalló) es uno de los yacimientos prehistóricos del Paleolítico Superior más importantes de Europa. Se encuentra situada dentro del Paraje Natural Municipal Parpalló-Borrell, un espacio de 560 hectáreas adscrito al Ayuntamiento del municipio de Gandía (Valencia, España), a pesar de que la localidad más cercana es Barx, a escasos 3 km de distancia.. Este yacimiento está catalogado como Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) y está incluido en la lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO por su conjunto de arte rupestre.

Gran interés cultural. Una interesante visita que te transportará unas decenas de miles de años atrás. Perfectamente guiada por el personal. Por mi parte un acierto.
